Kingston School of Art jumps 19 places in REF 2021 - to 17th.

The Arts and Design practices at the Kingston School of Art - including Fine Art, Film, Architecture, Landscape, History and Critical Theory - made a collective submission to REF 2021 in UoA 32.

The submission which included a huge quantity of practice based submissions, including many from Register members has been assessed with 87% of returns being rated 3 or 4 star - designating world leading and internationally excellent levels of research. The consequent rise of 19 places in the league table to 17th sets us in a very strong place to deepen our expertise in practice situated research in the years ahead, and to engage with renewed vigour in the potentials of our vibrant school of art context.

All the members of register would like to thank the internal team who lead the peer review and output selection process including Cat Rossi, Bill Balaskas, Jane Pavitt and many more.
